House System
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Tenughat revolves around an effective House System. On joining the Vidyalaya the boys and girls are arranged randomly and the house is allotted in a serial order without any distinction.
There are Eleven
houses in JNV Tenughat – Eight for boys and three for girls. They are as
under:-

The name of the
houses are christened on the hills of India, so as to inspire the students to be
strong and sturdy, to overcome obstacles and demonstrate endurance, persistence
and will power.
House Masters/ Mistresses (HMS) are the real pillar of this system. They provide leadership and parental guidance to the students who are residing with them in a home away from their own homes. They have Associate House Masters/ Mistresses (AHMS) to assist them in running this system efficiently to ensure safety and security of students.
